Solution for Slow Hash Performance for Litecoin Mining using Asus Matrix Platinum HD7970
Recently I bought two units of Asus Matrix Platinum HD7970 for Litecoin mining. Bitcoin mining using GPU is not profitable anymore but for Scrypt based coin like Litecoin it is still profitable. I was excited when I got the card hearing most card like Sapphire Vaporx R9 280 and Asus HD7970 Direct CU II Top can get an average hash of 700KH/s To my horror when I start to mining Litecoin using my newly purchased Asus Matrix Platinum HD7970 card I can only get 320Kh/s to a max of 500Kh/s using cgminer 3.7.2!!! I am very sad.
