Alienware m11x announced by Dell, priced at $1000

Today at the Dell’s press conference, they company came out with its Alienware m11x 11.6 inch laptop. Alienware laptops are quite powerful but are not known for being portable or affordable. However at the conference, a spotlight was put on its new M11X laptop. It’s a netbook sized 11.6 inch laptop which comes with switchable graphics which also includes an Nvidia GT335M GPU as its main power house. It would cost under $1000.

The M11x laptop will have over 6 hours of battery life in its lower graphic function mode. Switching off to the faster Nvidia GPU, it takes under 2 seconds and one need not log off and will attain around 2 hours of intense gaming. The tiny laptop was shown off and an Mx11 was also connected to a larger monitor to demonstrate how the laptop which has the display port, HDMI and VGA ports connects to larger monitors and even HDTVs to play games.

Dell claimed that the Call on Duty Modern Warfare 2 will run at over 30 fps in full HD mode and with settings set to high.

WTF i definitely would like to have one!! Imagine the portability of a netbook and the power of a desktop!
