WORM_DOWNAD.A cannot be detected by Trend OfficeScan

WORM_DOWNAD.A cannot be detected by Trend Micro OfficeScan 8.0 in realtime mode.
You need to trigger a manual scan to detect the virus which in my opinion pure rubbish cause for end user if you did not trigger a full manual scan there is no way to know if your machine is infected or not. But my question is if the machine is infected with WORM_DOWNAD.A then a process which have random name will appear if you type NET START in command prompt and the service status will be starting...

The worst part is if you dont have OSCE SP1 then you are not able to clean this virus at all!!!

So to stay protected you need to have MS 08-067 hot fix and Trend Micro OfficeScan 8.0 with SP1 and all the latest update and do a manual full scan..

really hope that trend micro will improve on their product.

Zishan Z1 firmware Update and Manual

I found out Zishan has released a new firmware for Z1 player. It supports three new playback modes. download here.. The update is simple. All you need is the ZiShan_Z1_0.2.zip and a TF card. I used a 32GB TF card in FAT32 format. 1) Turn off Z1 player; 2) Extract app.bin from ZiShan_Z1_0.2.zip, and put it in the root directory of the TF card; 3) Insert the TF card into the player; 4) Turn on the Z1 player. The LED light will be on for 3 seconds and then blink ultra-fast for around 5 seconds. (Done). 5) Remove the file app.bin in the card. What's new in v0.2: 1) Add 180 EQ settings.
