Ok all those spec above is taken from Superlux web site. Let me try to give you a first impression of this headset but please bear in mind i am not a pro reviewer or an expert in audiophile. I am just a beginner.

The size and design

I like to compare it with my AKG K430 and sennheiser HD238 because they are design with on thing in mind which is PORTABILITY. But from the picture above you can see the 3 in comparison before and after fold up.

It is very light and comparable to sennheiser HD238. The whole headphone is made from plastic. It is quite sturdy. It has a individual cable for left and right channel. The cable is thick too and look durable compare to both the AKG and Sennheiser which is a shame cause the price i pay for this HD572 is just rm59!

The sound

I test the HD572 out from the box. It is a bright headphone. The bass can be punchy but when i drive it using my laptop, the bass is lacking..at first i thought it is my headphone issue. The i plug in to my Fiio E11 portable amp and voila!! This headphone come alive..i can hear all the punchy bass from the Boom boom Pow song by Black Eye Pea.

I think everyone know how a sennheiser HD238 sound like. Wide soundstage, good mid and high which give you in front of stage/in hall feel. The AKG K430 gives you the on stage feel which is suitable for bassy song..If for vocal and instrumental or concert i will choose the sennheiser. Superlux HD572 has the on stage feel. It is like AKG K430 but minus the bright treble. I feel that sometime AKG K430 can be too bright but on the other hand Superlux HD572 is just nice!

Pros: Give you punch bass, good mid and high.
Light weight plastic made this headphone comfortable to wear.
Super Cheap price !!! at only RM59

Cons: It needs a portable amp to draw out its real potential.
the material for the earcup is of low quality and i doubt it can withstand
abuse.
