Ussually taking macro especially when the light is not bright enuff then it will be very challenging. Using the direct flash on the body will give u a harsh shadow or underexpose pics. So how?
Well the F:-50R will come in handy. Set the flash to FP mode and place the flash furter away and if you are in the room u can try bouncing the flash towards the ceiling. By doing this you get enough light to take the macro pic and yet to not show serious harsh lights just like the photo of the credit card taken above.
you can try different angle of placing the flash to get your desire lighting effect. In my case using the ZD 50mm f2.0 or even ZD 35mm macro lens..lightning is very crucial cause at 0.5 magnification the minimum focussing distance is very very near..
happy shooting..
