BHPHOTOVIDEO.COM won't honor their DEAL!!!

On 27 November 2008 The Olympus world went crazy when bhphotovideo.com was selling the Olympus OL5020028SWD 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 ED SWD Zuiko Zoom Lens for Olympus Digital Cameras for $395.95

Then i made a purchase on this site. I would not know it is a hoax or a mega deal but i went on to order 1 unit. I goto the website fill in a few forms and voila an invoice and order confirmation was generated and the credit card company called me and confirm with me on the purchase.

A day later i receive an email from bhphotovideo just stating that they mistype the price and the order is cancel but the full refund can only be given back to me approximately 7 days later cause i pay using credit card.

Lesson learn.

1. Internet trader like bhphotovideo can put whatever price they want on the internet and not honoring it. They can blame it on typo easily and cancel off any order.

2. In the real world when you buy something, you goto shop, u tell them u want to buy the goods, pay them and you get the goods. But in bhphotovideo.com they simply means..they dont keep the stock..u want u order and u have to pay me full amount in the process and i take your money to buy the stock at cost price and earn some decent profit and ship to you...and if anything screw up..they can just cancel off any deal..

3. If it is within one country then yes you can file a complain to the consumer tribunal or something like that, since it is in the virtual world they are no LAW and rules...

So guy think twice before buying from web site like bhphotovideo.com cause you may just end up in dissapointment.. stay away from these sites..

Zishan Z1 firmware Update and Manual

I found out Zishan has released a new firmware for Z1 player. It supports three new playback modes. download here.. The update is simple. All you need is the ZiShan_Z1_0.2.zip and a TF card. I used a 32GB TF card in FAT32 format. 1) Turn off Z1 player; 2) Extract app.bin from ZiShan_Z1_0.2.zip, and put it in the root directory of the TF card; 3) Insert the TF card into the player; 4) Turn on the Z1 player. The LED light will be on for 3 seconds and then blink ultra-fast for around 5 seconds. (Done). 5) Remove the file app.bin in the card. What's new in v0.2: 1) Add 180 EQ settings. (WTF...it's a screen-less player.) 2) Add 3 playback modes: Repeat, Shuffle and Default. (Very useful for me.) 3) Fix a DSD problem.
