Samsung OMNIA firmware is being traded like a hot commodity..!!!

I do notice that a guy with the nick SECANY in www.modaco.com is selling the Samsung OMNIA i900 firmware like hotcake.

Little have been known about this guy.

We only know that he uses this email hung.chieu@y7mail.com and therommaster@gmail.com

The question that pop up are:-

1. How on earth did he manage to get hold of the official Samsung i900 firmware? Did he work for Samsung. If yes he is clearly violating company rules by disclosing company interlectual to public for personal gain.

2. Initially he disclose it for free and later require payment in the form of "donation" If you pay too little you will get full refund and screwed by this guy..so literally he is saying u need to pay me for the ROM and if the amount is too little go fuck off!!

Anyway he did mention in the thread that other people have leak his firmware..thus in other word warning other not to jeorpadize his sales.!!! Well first of all i would like to say that there is no NDA between him and me and i can fucking post what i want..did he actually file a copyright to this firmware? No i guess but claiming these firmware as if it belong to him is totally absurb..these firmware belong to Samsung and not him.!!! And how he leak it out from Samsung is something Samsung ppl need to investigate..

Good post, I totally agree with you. The guy is a crook, he steals original ROMs from Vietnamese, Thai forums and re-brand them again.

Bro, I've been following his thread since the beginning of time. I know what happened. And you know what, my say is that you bought it...you own it. Don't ever feel bad about sharing things out. So he doesn't want your money. It shows what freaking motives he have behind afterall. To be frank with you. His update are nice little candies. But the official DZHJ1 was already good enough for me to being with. He fixes one or two things and he wants money??? Make me a damn good and comprehensive update and I'll consider paying. Not just fix a few item when you fucking know you can fix a lot more and expect us to pay every damn time. It the same bloody shit like Intel knowing they can come out with better chips but just decides to slow down to make more dough. That's my two cents. Anyway, bro. Thanks so much for sharing with us the ROM. If we ever meet face to face, I owe you a drink.

Zishan Z1 firmware Update and Manual

I found out Zishan has released a new firmware for Z1 player. It supports three new playback modes. download here.. The update is simple. All you need is the ZiShan_Z1_0.2.zip and a TF card. I used a 32GB TF card in FAT32 format. 1) Turn off Z1 player; 2) Extract app.bin from ZiShan_Z1_0.2.zip, and put it in the root directory of the TF card; 3) Insert the TF card into the player; 4) Turn on the Z1 player. The LED light will be on for 3 seconds and then blink ultra-fast for around 5 seconds. (Done). 5) Remove the file app.bin in the card. What's new in v0.2: 1) Add 180 EQ settings. (WTF...it's a screen-less player.) 2) Add 3 playback modes: Repeat, Shuffle and Default. (Very useful for me.) 3) Fix a DSD problem.
